Founded in Montréal by former high-level figure skaters\, the company wields ice\, skates and glide as pure mediums of artistic storytelling. \nIn “Glide\,” the skating artists draw on influences from theatre\, street dance\, and tap\, applying all to the ice as stage. SUMMARY:A Salute to the Winter Games
DESCRIPTION:Presented by Pawtucket & Providence Figure Skating Club and hosted by the City of Providence\, “A Salute to the Winter Games” will be held at the The Providence Rink to offer the community a glimpse of elite and local figure skating. An evening to showcase rising New England skaters will also feature figure skating champions from across the nation\, including 2025 & 2026 U.S. Pairs champions Alisa Efimova & Misha Mitrofanov\, 2022 Junior World champions\, Oona and Gage Brown\, four-time U.S. Championships and international competitor\, Sonja Hilmer\, and Rhode Island’s own 2026 U.S. Junior Men’s champion\, Patrick Blackwell. More performers to be announced soon. Set against the idyllic backdrop of Providence Rink\, the evening will inspire spectators while celebrating the spirit of the XXV Winter Olympic Games\, set to begin in Milano-Cortina\, Italy\, February 6-22\, 2026.  Admission is free\, and all are welcome. Attendees should dress warmly.
