Tree Lighting Ceremony

Time: 5:30 pm

Saturday night will be our Tree Lighting Ceremony beginning at 5:30 pm. There will be an ice skating show hosted by Nancy Kerrigan featuring Olympic and National Medalist performances.

Winter Hours

Open daily:  10:00 am – 10:00 pm

Opening at the end of November through mid-March.

Ice Sharing Hours  (Skating & Bumper Cars):

M – F – 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Weekends – 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

  • Last ice skating ticket sold at 9:30 pm, nightly
  • All hours are weather permitting
  • Special hours for holidays + events

The Bank Newport City Center is located at 2 Kennedy Plaza in downtown Providence.

The winter ice skating season begins in November and continues through March. 

The summer event season extens from April through October with rental space available for public and private events.   Summer outdoor activity programming runs June through October.
