The Providence Rink is committed to putting the health and safety of our guests and staff first. We have made several changes to our operations to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone coming to the rink. With this in mind, we cannot do it on our own; we need everyone to do their part in helping us achieve a safe and successful 2020-2021 skating season.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

  • All high touch surfaces will be cleaned and sanitized on a regular basis
  • Hand sanitizing stations will be available throughout the rink
  • Masks will be required at all times for guests and staff with the exception of concessions corner (see below for details)
  • Daily staff health screenings will be done prior to each shift
  • Rental skates will be cleaned, sanitized, and set aside to properly dry between each use
  • Bumper cars will be cleaned and sanitized with an electrostatic sprayer between each use

OPERATION UPDATES

  • All rink operations will take place outside with the exception of restrooms, which will be a one out, one in system
  • Skate Rental Room will be closed, rentals will take place at the service counter in the Skate Rental Room doorway
  • We will no longer be taking shoes from guests for a skate rental, we will now be taking a name and phone number with our designated skate number to help us keep track of our inventory and limit lost or stolen skates
  • Outdoor lace up area will be located at Northeast Stadium steps
  • Outdoor cubbies will be provided as well as outdoor lockers for a $3 fee
  • Food and drink consumption will only be allowed in designated areas as this requires your mask to be taken off
    • Concessions Corner – Heated area with tables outside of Subway’s back entrance
    • Tables and Benches setup at Trinity Beer Garden
  • Doors entering and leaving the ice will be marked as a one way traffic system
  • Tickets will be sold at a rate of 10 tickets per 15 minutes at a length of stay for 3 hours to help us keep our capacity under control. If the time slot becomes sold out, guests will have to wait until the next 15 minute slot opens up. Online skating sales will be available this year to help you plan ahead and help limit wait times at the ticket window
